If you google "is rapidgator down?" go to the first link and you will see that it certainly is down in some places, and that it is probably that Roadrunner (TimeWarner) has blocked it (it has in California and I am on NYC Roadrunner). The test is easy: If you cannot connect on your PC, go to your cell phone and try to connect (assuming it's a different provider)--that should tell you if your provider is fucking around. Roadrunner is overwhelmed with problems according to their Help recording and they tell you to hang up and call later.
