A divorced man, Danny, falls in love and then marries a divorced woman, Cathy, in the first third of the film. Danny has one son, Les, and Cathy, has two daughters. However, the two sets of kids haven't ever seen each other. So when everyone met at the dinner table, Dan found out that he has had an affair with Cathy's elder daughter.
