Recently, I moved house. The move took a long time and a lot of energy, and by the time it was over, I felt... empty. Sad. We tried to put a little ceremony into our leave-taking, but nothing felt quite right to me. Nothing felt final enough, or personal enough. So once the house was empty, I came back one last time, toting a heap of video cameras. There'in each room of the house, I got to say goodbye my way, and give that chapter of my life a proper climax. It felt good - really, really good.
