An important movie. When porn was all but falling apart this signature gem directed by Andrew Blake redefined the possibilities of the genre. It had become obvious that the home video market wasn't going to support quality narrative films with explicit sex, so having scored a big success with the surreal NIGHT TRIPS, Blake went even further, junking plot and dialogue altogether, replacing them with euro-electronica music and spectacularly photographed and produced scenes involving lithe Rosellini-esque beauty Zara White's surreal sexual adventures in an ultramodern dream house.
House Of Dreams strives to be beautiful. Essentially a 90 minute hardcore perfume commercial with non-stop dissolves and kinky sex scenes. Women seem to respond to this film as much as men.
