This film, mixing fiction and documentary, is considered to be one of the better French 'porno homo' of its time. Throughout the film there are voice-over readings of the letters written by Paul to Jerome.The first scene takes place in an abattoir (not warehouse), where the protagonist is introduced to the joys of fist fucking. There are carcasses of animals and the blood is used for lubricant, (le héros découvre les joies du fist fucking dans un abbatoir aggripé aux cadavres d'animaux, leur sang servant de gel intime). The original film's runtime was 95 min. Bijou video's version of this, From Paris To New York, is horribly butchered, cutting out virtually all of the plot scenes. It also excises all of the fisting action and probably 3/4 of the leather bar orgy.
