A young Cafe Flesh soldier travels to Europe in search of the companionship he found with a fellow soldier during the war. Paying a visit to a bathhouse in Budapest, he is drawn into a world of male sensuality that re-awakens his sexual longing. Shot entirely on location, Pools of Desire features eight young men indulging in the ancient fraternal rituals of the Turkish Baths - they frolic in warm pools, splash in cooling water fountains and delight in sensual wet massage.
