I like many people have been hit by Filesonic's demise.

I still have several months left of my now useless premium account.

I can understand how those hosts who are providing facilities are being inundated by new users for both uploading and downloading and so affecting traffic speeds.

I have tried to download a few files as a guest but as widely reported getting abysmally slow speeds.

Not wanting to shell out for an annual gold account I was wondering which hosts provide shorter gold accounts which do not renew automatically? Just wanting to try different hosts to get a feel of what there service is like for downloading.
