It was my understanding that coding your links helps prevent the file host from determining where the links were posted.

Also, as a former moderator I've seen various phishing scams using live links.
You can wrap the link with [url] and make it say anything. The only way to determine if the link is ligit is to carefully read the menu bar as you scroll every link...thus making sure the link is actually rapidshare/files...not ripidshare/file....just an example, but a frequent password stealing site..

Coding your links produces the entire link for all to see

How about a requirement to post screen caps of the vids posted. Posting a cover is bullshit. It's not like it's hard to throw something at mpc/image grabberII.
Very few people will download something with no preview. This isn't 1998 on Usenet.

I agree about the screen caps, but personally i can live without it: i just don't download such files (you never know if it's just a crappy converted scene).
And i would have nothing against a mandatory link coding, it surely makes it a safer place for all and much easier for mods.
Don't know if it is still necessary to have live link to gain some referrer points, at least in the last days of RS it wasn't needed.

I dont see why kinks such as beastiality, incest and rape should be banned. Just perhaps make sure they kept in the kinks section.

Most incest movies are BS anyway, the people arnt related, its just for the fantasy.

Rape movies should only be posted if they are definitly not real. I see no reason to ban rape fantasy because its just fantasy.

I dont see why beastiality should be banned unless the animals in said movies are being harmed.

Its not like people have to DL this stuff and as long as posts of those nature are clearly labelled in their title there should be no accidental downloading.

Bestiality is illegal in most places, and rape is rape...if you allow it, then its up to us to determine whether its fake or real.. its hard enough to try an determine whether sum posters are posting underage content and adding fake rape vs real rape is a little to much.....This board is fantastic the way it is...
