Curious about a lot of dead links.........

Just joined up, trying to find my way around today. Did get to the retro/vintage video forum and was amazed at all the great old stuff from days of yore that I truly like and would like to grab a few. I have noticed many of the links, some more recent than others, are dead--thinking that's the result of the Megaupload take-down some months ago. Filemonster especially, although a few were still active on Oron. I don't dislike Oron at all, but a couple of the others will let me grab them with my Jdownloader and let it do its job while I do other things. Any thoughts? Thanks.

If its the odd file I would ask the original poster, I have been asked myself and i don't mind putting the odd file on a different host. But if you ask for his entire back catalouge then probably no chance. But pick the ones you really like and ask for those, the others you may have to oron them.

Only thing I would suggest is take the time to ask nicely as it does take effort to upload.
