Question about Posting images..?

Not sure if anyone could get what I am trying to understand as I receive no answer

I just want to know whether I am obligated to post thumbs and links of images to imagehosts only or if I am able to add links and thumbs from other websites other than imagehosts.

The landing page where the link would go, would show the full resolution image as on any image host.

And instead of adding the download link to file hosts it would be a link where the complete gallery of images is located. Would be the same and even more user friendly for those that look to view the images only.

Just want to know this.
