Please download the BETA and give us feedback and post bugs or suggestions here in the thread! Also every help to make tutorials, examples, a f.a.q. or any kind of documentation for GuideMe would be great. The ZIP archive includes everything you need running the GuideMe BETA (including java, vlc and a small example script). Be aware: There will be still bugs and problems with this version. Therefore, it's called a BETA version. The tutorial explains most of the features including the use of javascript and variables. It also guides you through your initial configuration (see installation step 4).

(1) Download the right version for your operating system
(2) Unzip the archive anywhere on your hard drive
(3) Run start.bat (It should hopefully all load up.)
(4) Preferences: Edit "My Name", "Data Directory" (should point to /Guides Folder) and uncheck "Debug"
(5) Load a script... enjoy

Frequently asked questions (F.A.Q.)

Question: Can i play TeaseMe Scripts with GuideMe?
Answer: Yes, every TeaseMe Script should workl with GuideMe. There are just some minor "Layout" differences (see below).

Question: I don't see any pictures. What's wrong?
Answer: Go under File > Preferences and check your Data Directory. It should point to your ".../GuideMe/Guides" folder, where all your guides are stored.
