As ourselves being a small team of uploaders, we've trying several image hosts and then using several image hosts scripts, but no website have fully offered us the perfect image hosting service.

So, we hired a programmer, and we've build a website, we call it, the ultimate image hosting website : http://www.pixterra.com

Well... what is different you may ask... here's a small list of the features:

1. Be a Partner with Us ... make money as your images are getting more and more views. Register as a FREE user, and choose 3 banners (Two 468x60 banners and one 300x250 banner) - your banners will replace ours on the image page.. so you have the possibility to earn money for your time and your work. More explained here... Also, in your user panel, you can choose your website address, and your link will appear near EVERY image that you are uploading. This means more visitors for your blog, forum, ddl site, etc.

2. The possibility of choosing the thumbnails size: from 100x100 , to 500x500. So you can use this for blogs as well, choosing a higher dimension of the thumbnail. You also can crop or resize the thumbnails to match your pagination needs. If you need perfect square thumbnails, choose crop option.

3. Check Advanced Upload option... a lot of option there, you can resize the images, choose thumbnails dimensions, borsers, spacing, etc. After initial Upload , you can view the files, create and choose albums, create tags, etc.

4. Zip Upload is also there, but our script make very easy to upload tons of images in the same time, without needing to place them in z ip file before uploading.

5. The whole system of images is created in 2 big categories. General Content, and Adult Content. So choose your images content type carrefully, because the site ads are appearing near the images depending of their content type !!! .. If you host adult images, the ads will be adult related, host normal, safe for work images, and the ads will not contain pornographic commercials.
