This is a comparable spoof. The makers took the TV-series "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" and turned it into hardcore. Now the original TV-series is one of the best of all absurd series ever made in the USA. Louise Lasser is Mary Hartman and she happens to be stupid and intelligent at the same time. The series was not to everybody's taste, but like "Soap" it was a bit of genius.
This spoof is not as bad as most others. Mary Flegus is played by Victoria Corsaut, wearing a wig just like Louise Lasser's in the TV-series. Some of the conversations are quite absurd and rather like in the TV-series. Most however are not as absurd and amusing. A rather strange atmosphere is created, the makers succeeded there. However the hardcore does actually not fit in. Who wants to see Louise Lasser in bed? She has the erotic radiance of a radish. And so does Mary Flegus. The first sex scene is of a man pumping a woman. But she is not interested in his bonking at all. As a spoof this is OK, but who wants to watch this? Those who love the original series and serious movie lovers are offended by the sex and those who love porn are offended by the cold woman who is not even pretending to amuse herself while in the sack. And actually that is what's wrong with this movie: it is not appealing to anyone.

-Trashy Lady is a period piece set against the backdrop of the roaring 1920's Chicago underworld, during the days of prohibition, well-dressed gangsters and tommy-guns. His problems are compounded when another local mobster, Big Louie decides to take revenge against Dutch because he believes that he's been sleeping with his girl, sparking a small gang war
-Gangster Dutch (Harry Reems) has just been left by his regular dame, Jessie (Cara Lott). With the third annual 'Gathering of the Brotherhood' merely weeks away, Dutch is desperately in need of a new girl. Karen hears voices, struggling with sanity, encountering a series of visitors, including a predator in Larry the Lineman (Michael Gaunt), who inspires Karen's murderous side after sexually assaulting her.
-Well-to-do couple, Don and Frances has been struggling in their marriage. Frances's mentally ill sister, Karen, who lives with them, is taking a toll on their romance and as such. They bicker about what to do with the grown woman - who's gone mute since staying with them - and has even turned to their psychologist chum Otis and his shrill, unsatisfied wife Estelle for advice. Upon hearing they have been considering having her committed to an asylum, Karen flees to an abandoned beach house on Fire Island, where she endures a series of gnarly sexual encounters that push the voices in her head to finally lash out through her murderous hand.
-"A Woman's Torment" isn't your average adult movie. Findlay doesn't treat the material with any kind of warmth, going the Polanski/Hitchcock route (scoring is Herrmann-esque) with Karen's journey into madness, keeping her on edge as she struggles with sexuality and anger, eventually lashing out at anyone she encounters. The suspense is crudely executed, but it's consistent, creating a sizable body count. As for the sex, "A Woman's Torment" is cold to the touch, though intentionally so, supplying embittered female characters who remain unsatisfied in bed, while cinematography is best described as "gynocological."
