Outnumbered and outmatched, it comes as no surprise that HyperWoman doesn't tell the police, nor does she enlist the help of other superheroines. She has it all figured out. If she walks all alone into a trap and vanishes without a trace, no one will ever be able to rescue the scientist, let alone even know where he is, and the villains will be able to use his advanced technology to take over the world. Doubtless, this is the kind of reasoning that HyperWoman learned in crime fighting school.
